Description: Day One while riding dirt bikes in Colorado this year was starting in Sargents, Colorado at the Tomichi Creek Trading Post. This video is after we were heading back from eating ice cream at Monarch Pass, at 11,312 elevation, it was AWESOME! This is Mike McGovern following Woody down the CDT as we head away from Monarch Pass. Mike then passes Woody, and multiple other riders, to show you a fast pace look at the trail! Good work Mike!!! The Continental Divide Trail south of the Sargents, Colorado area is a lot of rocky single track. It's tight in some spots, and open in others. The trail is a multi-use trail, so hikers and mountain bikers are also on the trail. It's best to ride a tad slower than you want to so you don't spook others on the trail, including yourself. Agate Creek is a great trail to ride off of the CDT East of Marshall Pass. Once you're West of Marshall Pass, Tank 7 Creek Trail, Big Bend Trail, Long Branch Trail, Baldy Lake Trail and Dutchman Creek Trail are all awesome pieces of single track to enjoy in the area.
