Cut them in half or in 4 pieces. Boil water and add 1 tsp salt. Add potatoes and boil for 6-7 minutes on high flame. Remove from flame. Drain all the water and let them cool. Add potatoes in a big vessel. Add all spices and coat them with potatoes. Add fresh methi leaves and besan, mix nicely. Sprinkle water and mix till all the potatoes coat with the mixture. Heat oil in a flat bottomed pan. Place a metal ring in the center of pan, Fill the ring with prepared mixture, flatten with the back side of spoon. Try to make a perfect round. Pour hot oil over it with a spoon. Fry on medium flame till it become crispy. Now press the fried mixture and remove the ring, flip sharla and fry from other side too. Take out carefully from the oil. Fry all the sharle in the same way. Serve them with green chutney, tamarind chutney and bread slices. Enjoy!!
