Description: I learnt this Qi Gong Form from my previous teacher Shan Hui Xu. It originates from the shaolin tradition, its somewhat akin to the baduajin This form is composed of 5 exercises, each one has 3 parts. The first part of each exercise is lifting the heavens which is done up to 9 times for each exercise. That can be quite demanding if using reverse breathing, which is the proper way to do it so build up to it gradually. The lifting the heavens exercise is very important as it stimulates the triple burner meridian. This meridian, regulating the functions of all your organs. It also stimulates and strengthens the kidneys which control the production of jing in the body. The stronger and abundant your jing is the stronger your body and sexual vitality will be.And it open and and greatly improves lung function. Lungs control the Qi of the entire body Important points of practice -Dont strain your breathing. Fill lungs no more than 80% capacity. You can breath normally but reverse breathing will have a better function -Dont strain your body. Only bend your body as far as it feels comfortable and start with less repetitions -Keep arms straight when required -Practice early morning, not evening as it is very stimulating
