Description: Forres & District Pipe Band, led by Drum Major Mike Munro and Pipe Major Johnathan Scott, playing at Riverview Country Park, Mundole near Forres, for a Spring Fayre on 16th April 2022. The set played is "Scotland the Brave", 'Rowan Tree" and finally "No Awa' Teo Bide Awa". Forres & District Pipe Band was formed by players who had served in the regular or territorial battalions of the Seaforth Highlanders, the local Moray infantry regiment. They wear the Seaforth associated Mackenzie kilt and the crest of the Seaforths. The band has a long history of playing for local community events, Highland games and they regularly performed at the European Pipe Band Championships, held in Forres until 2017, and at the Highland Military Tattoo, Fort George, which also ended in 2017.
