The motto of Homeward Bound was "Cherish Your Life", and John Kramer would reuse this phrase in connection with his work as Jigsaw. The clinic was home to patients that John would eventually test like Amanda Young, Cecil Adams, Gus Colyard and many other Jigsaw victims. But Jill, despite her ultimate defeat at the end of the series, was one of the most important characters in the later installments of the series, and played a key role in the defeat of the series' most corrupt villain, Mark Hoffman. Jill has potentially the most significant character arc in the series, but it's hard to get a good grasp on her entire journey, because her scenes are split up and distributed among Saw 4 - 7, so in this video I'll break down her entire life and analyse her character from a psychological perspective. This will cover the entire known history of Jill Tuck from her early relationship with John Kramer discussed in Saw 4, to her untimely death in Saw 7. She has also appeared in the Saw: Rebirth, motion comic, but since that appearance is not canon, I won't include it as part of my analysis; I'll only include material from the mainline Saw films and of course, my own conclusions.
