Description: Samsung Galaxy S22 Series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Coming to India Like us on facebook :facebook.com/techconfigurations Twitter : twitter.com/TECHCONFIGURATI Samsung is expected to launch its upcoming Galaxy S22 series, in February, in line with the traditional release timeline. As we know, the Galaxy S22 series would arrive in two different chipset configuration, one with Exynos 2200, which will be limited to few market because of the low yield ,while the rest of the markets will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Till now, we didn't knew exactly which markets will receive Exynos 2200 . But now according to the popular tipster FrontTron,Samsung is set to bring the Galaxy S22 series to the Indian market, with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Traditionally, Samsung had sold its flagship phones in India,with its in-house Exynos chipsets. which were sub-par in terms of performance,compared to there Snapdragon counterparts which indeed attracted a lot of criticism. But now this year, That looks geared to change with the Galaxy S22 series, though, as the phones look likely to ditch the upcoming Exynos 2200, in favor of Qualcomm's offering. Samsung's Exynos 2200 will be a big step-up from the Exynos 2100, especially in the GPU department, since it will utilize,the AMD's RDNA GPU this time. But as per benchmarks, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is still able to take the lead. Especially in terms of sustained performance , this is mainly because of the performance throttling that has always bugged the Exynos chipset. Either way, even if there were some promising rumours about Exynos 2200 ,after seeing the benchmark results, Samsung fans in India are more likely to be thrilled by this development.
