Description: The Geele Foundation was founded by Hodan Nalayeh’s uncle, Ali Geele. In 2020, the Geele Foundation founded an all female trade school to provide women the education and skill set to provide for themselves and their family. This school gives women the ability to develop sewing, catering, cooking, decorating (interior/exterior), and henna artistry skills. We wanted to remind you that Hodan’s vision of a better Somalia still lives on as we continue her mission to better the lives of our people.
