This particular bottle that I'm using in the video is actually Prosecco. It will work with any sparkling bottle. It even works on bottles like Pellegrino or a glass bottle of Coke. The pressure from the carbonation helps in the process. The most important thing is the bottle must be super cold. Then you want to find the seam of the bottle. This is where you will run the sword up the seam to the neck. One gentle swipe up will separate the glass as seen in the video. The glass bottle will actually break and the cork that comes out we'll have a ring glass on it still. Don't worry about broken glass. There is plenty of pressure to blow any glass particles far away.
