Description: Rusty Vintage Vice - Perfect Restoration I bought this vice to replace my faithful little Woden vice after it decided it had had enough and broke in two. I got this Record No3 from eBay for around $30 and it has to be said its in a pretty sorry state but all that is about to change with this video. The jaws were pretty much destroyed, the knurling was all worn and it been drilled into a chipped too so they are replaced with brand new ones as were the screws as they were seized into the casting and took considerable heat to shift them. Everything else on the vise was salvageable with a bit of blasting, welding, plating and painting and of course the custom printed decals which turned out if not a little dark.
