The guests would eat, but mostly drink late into the night, with music, dancing and other entertainment being provided for them. I attempted to recreate the atmosphere of such an event that might have taken place 2000 years ago, with both music and crowd recordings. The instruments in the song are also chosen specifically to simulate a live performance appropriate for that time period, namely lyre, flute and percussion.
