Description: We’re on the hunt for Cull Bucks in the picturesque wilderness of Hampshire with Ian Harford and Owen Beardsmore. Welcome to Great British Shooting on Team Wild TV. It's a warm July evening in Hampshire as Ian and Owen set out on the hunt for Roebucks. Not far into the stalk, the guys spot a decent looking buck just on the hedge line two fields over with a doe in toe. But they can't be too careful, there could be another young buck in the area. Using the wind to mask their scent and sound, Ian moves in quickly to try and catch the older buck alone. Working with Owen, Ian helps put the carefully planned holistic management program in place by culling the old, injured bucks to make way for a healthy young population. Even though the vegetation is thick and the buck is well hidden, it is no match for Owen's calling skills and the buck moves into better position for Ian to make a clean shot. With a successful stalk and a great shot, the pair make their way through the crop to find their buck. A perfect way to start the day. The fields are ripe with deer and it's great to see Owen's management plan yielding such great results. It's these moments that make the long hours and rough stalks worthwhile. As the day wears on, Ian spots another perfect cull buck. Patience and careful shot placement are key. He mustn't let the moment go to waste. With one carefully measured shot, the shot connects perfectly despite the buck running for cover. Ian could not take all the credit for the shot. With a carefully picked Hawke scope, Howa 1500 Rifle and GRS stock, he knows his equipment will not let him down. Ian and Owen follow the trail through the bushes until they come across their buck.
