What you place into your subconscious mind, as you are about to go into this deep slumber, is all dependent upon what you do the last moments before you sleep.” These are, the beautiful words spoken by the late, Wayne Dyer. He has been an incredible influence in my life, and the source of where I first learned about the power of the subconscious mind and how powerful meditation can be when used just before you sleep. His words refer to scripture in the Bible. “In a dream. In a vision of the night. When deep sleep falls upon us, while slumbering in our beds, then he opens our ears, and seals our instruction.” To explain the law of attraction, Wayne Dyer takes more of a faith-based approach. He describes how to ask for what we want through a sort of prayer to God just before we fall asleep at night. As this action allows us to speak directly to the subconscious mind as we ask God for instruction. I know all that are listening may not be religious or spiritual, so, to some, this may just seem like complete nonsense. Or as Darren Hardy, the writer of The Compound Effect, describes the law of attraction, a bunch of “Huey”. The interesting thing is, a running theme throughout his book includes the precise ideas and techniques used by those who follow the law of attraction. For example, Mr. Hardy writes about how, while we are asleep, the mind continues to process the last information consumed. Because of this, he recommends for the reader to focus their intentions on their goals and ambitions just before falling asleep at night. He adds that to achieve your goals and ambitions, you should visualize yourself already achieving these goals. Sound familiar? The point is, we all have this incredible ability inside of us to manifest what we want into our lives, and it doesn’t matter whether you believe this incredible force is created by the universe, by God, or by your own subconscious mind. There is a force, no matter how you describe it, and it will work for you no matter what your beliefs are. This meditation will be your guide to speaking with that force inside you, just as you are falling asleep. You will visualize what you want to manifest. Using that incredible force to attract exactly what you want in life. Listening nightly is recommended as it will provide you with the best results.
