Description: This watch belongs to my father who bought it about 40 to 45 years ago in Kuwait. He was using it on regular basis for this period. This was in pretty bad condition after such a long period of usage so i decided to surprise my Dad by restoring it into 24 Karat Gold. My Dad went to another city it was a perfect time to surprise him so i started restoration on this watch and before starting work on it. I searched it on google and google says that it is a rare 1980's Diastar Rado Swiss Men's watch. The Mechanism of this watch was working perfectly but the problems occurred in strap and in its Body. The strap was almost destroyed, Locks were almost faded and Strap pins harmed the body metal so badly so i had to weld that. At the End i would say it was a great project for me and the only flaw left was the Gold Painted or plated Glass on front display.
