Description: Bear was rescued from an alleged-neglect situation in Smith County, Texas. He was sleeping on bare concrete and exposed to the elements. He couldn’t walk, unassisted for very long. His backend was too weak. Bear was transported to our temporary shelter in Maryland, to give him a chance to heal from his injuries and get a second chance at life. After giving him the proper amount of space, nutrition, and comfort, he is now thriving in Florida with his foster parent and, we know he will soon find his forever home!
