Description: If you really just want to see the lipoma pop out, just fast forward to the 6:45 minute point. I've bypassed the dermal sutures but the other sutures start going in around the 10:00 mark. As to the procedure itself, I will continue to work on the camera aspect and try to get closer images for future procedures. Otherwise I found this to be a good example of the importance of taking your time and utilizing your finger as a dissecting tool. It is really underplayed as to how useful it can be. The challenge for residents will mainly revolve around the anaesthesia portion of this procedure. Circumferential blocks, for lipomas, can become quite large and the timing of such can be a bit of a stressor for someone new to these types of things. If you are worried about the timing of everything, use a longer acting anaesthetic (like marcaine) and save yourself some significant stress. Feel free, as always, to leave me a question or concern about this video and I'll try to get back to you when I can. I don't mind critiques, positive or negative. They can all help if they are honestly given.
