Description: Acts of terrorism injure, harm and kill thousands of innocent people each year. On December 19th, 2017, the United Nations General Assembly declared that the 21st of August would mark the International Day of Remembrance of and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism. This decision was made in order to honor and support the victims and survivors of terrorist attacks and to protect their human rights and fundamental freedoms. Every day, IDF soldiers defend Israeli civilians from terrorist organizations, including Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and other Iranian-backed proxies. We will always stand with survivors of these horrendous terrorist attacks and remember the victims all around the world.
