I wanted to share a statement ...a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. This song tries to shine a light on a subject of unimaginable but all too common darkness in the human soul but the responsibility we all have to look within and try our best to change it .... not just some of us ...but ALL of us ... and change it WE MUST!!! ...... This country has seen our best and our worst and yet ... we have survived it all... we are sometimes broken ... battered... breathless.... but we continue to persevere....we press on for those who gave their lives to see better days for their children and their children’s children ....and the fight will continue until EVERY PERSON sees the humanity in EVERY PERSON ... and the distance between us becomes nothing but love ....so won’t you help me sing these songs of freedom cuz all I ever have are redemption songs ..... ❤️
