Description: Redback Spider study that looks at the development of baby Redback spiderlings in a controlled environment where the only food source is other Redback spiders. Spider Tank 3 has started off with 3 Redback spider egg sacs from Barbie the Redback Spider. I do add more Redback spider egg sacs along the way. I also find a Black House spiders egg sac to add to the Redback spider tank to spice it up at episode 5. This episode is a spider feeding frenzy as the more dominant spiders set up zones and pick off whatever they want as a meal. The tiny Black House spiderlings are cautiously sticking together because if they wander too much they become a Redback spiders next meal. But I start with a mini Redback Roundup to let you see how these amazing spiders love to set up homes in metal pails that are laying around the garden. I also find a spider in the garden that seems to deter Redback spiders from setting up home. This spider study will be done in parts and not weeks. Much of the video footage will be shot via timelapse and I use a AUPRO90 Bore Camera to see the small stuff up close. Hopefully we learn lots of stuff along the way or else I get into HUGE trouble. The AUPRO-90 Standalone Borescope is sold as a kit to inspect gun barrels. An old friend suggested to see how the spiders look via this device.
