Description: With the development of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Google has committed to image equity through Real Tone. Taking authentic and accurate portraits, our latest Pixel camera renders the nuances of skin tones beautifully and accurately. Working with image experts—like photographers, cinematographers and colorists—our engineers made improvements in auto-detecting faces, auto-white balance tuning, and auto-lighting scenes. This fall, Google is partnering with T Brand, the creative content studio of New York Times Advertising, to explore image equity through the lens of Pixel 6. In ‘Picture Progress,’ a team of NYT photographers are creating portraits of civil rights activists Dolores Huerta, Phill Wilson and Ruby Bridges, to showcase them truly and authentically. When speaking about the partnership, Kennedi Carter says, “There is power in being seen, and there is strength in documenting our stories." Learn more at g.co/pixel/realtone and keep an eye out for the campaign in The New York Times magazine, app, and at nytimes.com. Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are available through pre-order at GoogleStore.com on October 19th. Find it on shelves, including the Google Store in New York City, starting October 28th. goo.gle/3DTBuIo
