Description: What's inside a 1980s Racal-Guardall RLC1S PIR motion sensor. No instructions or details but most likely a 12 volt device which connected to a dedicated lighting control unit. Uses a segmented mirror to focus IR from the environment onto the sensor. Also a look inside a modern self contained 230V AC PIR motion sensor which uses the same chip and very similar circuit. Uses a plastic IR lens to achieve the same results as the mirror. ► Social Media: Twitter: twitter.com/jwflame Facebook: facebook.com/jwflame Instagram: instagram.com/jwflame ► Contact info, sending stuff in: etc.: xo4.uk/?YTT ► Support this channel: Patreon: patreon.com/jwflame PayPal Donations: xo4.uk/?PPP Amazon: amzn.to/30bKt4v (As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases) ► Cryptocurrencies: Dogecoin DOGE: DShDwFJyXKqCddwVsuCWWYnGpuhFrBMyam Litecoin LTC: LXQ4QRqztUq1KBQccxeLDivrdnas5fcHrc Nyancoin NYAN: KUiaPqoRcNnhXHcfWrgEYD5aZqwocLnrwf Bitcoin BTC: 17JyfSsQuUi1tHow26QxUvsh45kP6vsK63 ► Website flameport.com
