It's with a great deal of pride and a small bit of wistfulness that we bring you, "Where Were You When I Needed You." There is definitely some irony to be found in the title of this, the final song recorded by the PS22 Chorus on Friday the 13th of March 2020, the last day (unbeknownst to us at the time) before the pandemic shut us down. But the kids certainly went out on a high note with some ultra-tight three part harmonies on the chorus of this snarky sixties toe-tapping tune originally by The Grass Roots, though I admittedly first heard and fell in love with the version sung by The Bangles on their Greatest Hits album. Man, these kids knew how to put over a song in every possible way, and MAN if this does this video doesn't inspire me to look forward to getting back to making more magic like this happen in that auditorium.....
