I get to create or recreate gorgeous hairstyles for girls going to prom (or other school dances). This updo is a combination of two hairstyles I've done recently for a wedding and for a formal event. I loved how it turned out, and how simple it really is to put together. Get your bobby pins ready and get ready to look gorgeous!! This style works best with shoulder length (medium) to long hair. This is probably most comfortable for someone with some hairstyling experience (intermediate rather than beginner). You will need: A curling iron (we used our 1 inch tapered wand). The curls were for volume, texture, and then to drape over the messy style buns.
