Description: Here's an excellent "stock option" for your BRN-180®, AK-47, H&K MP5®, or similar firearm with a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny stock / brace attachment rail on the receiver. Brownells Gun Tech™ and Smyth Buster (and "Escape from Tarkov" combatant) Caleb Savant shows us the JMAC Customs SS-8 folding stock. Made of extremely light but super-strong 7075 aluminum alloy, the SS-8 feels solid, even though it weighs only 5.4 oz., not counting the folding mechanism. That folding mechanism is smooth, totally free of wobble or play, and it locks open and closed with a satisfying, reassuring "thunk." When it's extended, the SS-8 feels like a fixed stock. JMAC provides front AND rear QD sling swivel sockets on BOTH sides of the stock, and a raised cheekrest area (one of several available cheekrest configurations) that's drilled and tapped for bolt-on cheek risers (available separately). The stock can be detached from the M1913 adapter that clamps it to the receiver, so you can put adapters on multiple guns and swap ONE SS-8 stock between them. Installation is dirt simple.
