I don't regret getting it, despite it being fairly by the books. That said If you dislike JRPGs, it won't win you over. Weakest points are the story and the late-game pacing. The dex-filling is actually quite fun and I like the region overall (though I wish you unlocked more wild-areas as the game progressed). I'd take this formula over SUMO 100 times over.
