Description: We got to play around with an old CRT projector at Stadtwerkstatt, Linz. It has 3 cathode ray tubes (red, blue, green) and we modified the blue tube's deflecting coil to work in XY-mode. If working properly, this will be a great option for live performances (we're not entirely there yet), because: - completely analog projection (deflecting coils are driven with the same signal as the speakers) - very low latency (much lower than filming an oscilloscope with a camera and projecting it with a digital video projector) - wide frequency range (more details possible than with laser) - colors! - can also be used to play arcade vector games downsides: - huge and heavy - tubes are easy to destroy (by burning in) and replacements hard to get Soundtrack: mostly OsciStudio sounds by youtube.com/hansiraber + my tracks Spirals and Circles For technical questions please use the Oscilloscope Music subreddit, so they don't get buried in the comments: reddit.com/r/oscilloscopemusic
