Description: Hello everyone! It's so great to be back with a video showing you one of our favorite places that we have ever visited: Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. We stayed in the small village called Tzununa, where we had the opportunity to experience a much slower and simpler way of living amongst the indigenous community that lives there. This remote village is located on the shores of Lake Atitlán and has a unique view to three majestic volcanoes, something we had never seen before. Living a simple life in a Guatemalan village led to a lot of silence and for one of us, it led to some new emotions. The energy that we felt in the lake and the community can't really be described, we fell in love with this place as soon as we got there. We enjoyed our month here in this lakefront home with a private dock that allowed us to go for daily swims and to just listen to the sounds of the water and birds. This is a special video for us, so we hope you all enjoy it! It took us a while to post this because things have been a bit crazy with us settling ourselves back to the USA, getting Bernardo's permanent Green Card application ready which included a ton work, getting things settled in our cottage in Maine, while keeping up with our therapy sessions and lastly, enjoying the winter and all the snow.
