Description: [Intermediate] How to fold an Origami Snake Monster finger puppet that closes and opens its mouth when you pinch its neck. This is my 1000th video! I filmed the intro 4 years ago at the forest behind Mercey Hot Springs, CA, and I filmed the tutorial 3 years ago, but I did the green screen filming and editing just a few days before publishing this video. Here are some costume ideas for school functions or holidays... If you fold this snake puppet out of large paper you could stick your whole hand into it and your arm will be like the rest of the snake. Taking this idea one step further, you can fold this model out of huge paper and put it on your head like a hat. If you would like giant wings to go along with your snake head you can fold out of huge paper the Pegasus wings that I taught here: youtu.be/DwDex1xAiQo and put them on your arms. If you want to keep it small, the Pegasus wings can go on your thumb and little finger, the Snake Monster can go on your middle finger, and on your index finger and ring finger you can put crane claws which I taught here: youtu.be/nE4a8cegO60. If you do any of these ideas, I would love to share on my YouTube Community Tab or my Facebook. Please make a video of it and post the link to it in the comments. That would be awesome! Hope that inspires you. Happy folding! This model is related to the Baby Bird Finger Puppet which I taught here: youtu.be/Xgfjhmll4Mc (folding that model would be a good prerequisite for this Snake Monster).
