Description: [Simple] In this tutorial I show a fairly easy way fold a square paper into.... a rapid-fire noise-maker fidget toy that makes a pop when you pull it and another pop when you push it! So, if you can jiggle your hand back and forth 10 times in one second then you can get it to pop 20 times in one second! TIP: Avoid making any extra bends or crumples in the paper, or else it will likely be a dud as a loud noise maker, but it will probably still go in and out like the real push it pop it fidget toy. The real push-it pop-it fidget toy isn't nearly as loud or rapid as this origami Pop-it! This is one of several new fidget toys I recently designed in an attempt to jump onto the pop it craze while it's still POPular! In addition to an origami pop it, this origami popit can also be called a diy simple dimple. It's great for people with fidgety fingers and/or adhd. Exercise: See how big and how small you can fold it and compare the noises. Try it with different types of paper to see which is the loudest. Extra Credit: Here are some fidget actions that I didn't show: If you pull the two points apart a little more, then the other two points will touch so it can be a mouth that opens and closes as you repeatedly pull. If instead of pulling you push the two points all the way together, well then you just closed a second mouth, and you can easily open and close it multiple times. If you partially open the second mouth and place it face down (colored side down) then you can get it to rock back and forth like a see-saw. If you do this on a hard table then it will actually make a satisfying click each time it rocks. If you push the see saw on the exact middle point (where the two diagonals intersect) then it will spring back up like a push button. If you outside-reverse-fold whichever corner is sticking up then you can make a very large-bodied Pajarita (Pajarita is a traditional model that originated in Spain) which you can alternatively call a seal. See if you can put the point of a pencil into the top point of the bird's head and turn it into a bobble head Pajarita, and you can get it to spin in circles by swinging it around. You can also do this with the traditional Pajarita. If you manage to do all this then comment below, "I did it, teacher!
