Description: UPDATE! This video is now old! There is a new improved method of motor control that is not only easier, but more efficient. Watch my new tutorial here: youtu.be/JJXzlCK4vnY WARNING! ERROR! There is a slight error in this video! Do not connect any of your Pi's pins to ENA... Simply use a jumper to bridge the two male ENA pins. Watch the video and you'll see the comment which explains this. Here is the correct configuration: theraspberrypiguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/rsz_dsc03386.jpg NOTE! I have reuploaded this video for reference's sake as I have had 100s of requests for it to be made public again. I would like to stress that the new method (linked above) is miles better than the one demonstrated in this video! In this tutorial I show you how to control a motor with your Raspberry Pi. By the end of this tutorial you will be able to control the direction of the motor, you will understand the basic principles of how that motor works and you will be able to decipher a simple Python program. Personally I think that controlling motors is one of the coolest things that you can do with the Pi and I truly hope that you enjoy this tutorial! Sorry for the long delay in between videos!
