Description: NASA and others have begun earnestly looking into building telescopes on the Moon that could transform our view of the cosmos. I've often wondered why this hasn't been done yet, the Moon seems like an obvious place to put a telescope, but as with all things space, it's not as easy as it looks. Let's meet to discuss the pros and cons of lunar-based observatories: where should they go? What are the advantages of being on the moon? What are some of the plans in place now?
