Agutter just recently turned 69, and she's looking pretty good for her age. But then again, she's always been beautiful. In this video, we'll be taking a look at several never-before-seen photos of Jenny Agutter in her prime. These rare historical photos aren't exactly appropriate for history books. Agutter rose to fame as a child actress appearing in offerings like 1964s East of Sudan, 1968s Star! and most notably in two adaptations of the Edith Nesbit children's book The Railway Children. In 1971, she won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama for her role in the television film The Snow Goose. That same year, she appeared in the critically acclaimed film Walkabout. After moving to the United States in 1974 in order to pursue a career in Hollywood, Agutter appeared in the blockbuster 1976 film Logan's Run. She followed that role up with appearances in films such as 1981s Amy, 1982s An American Werewolf in London, and 1990s Child's Play. While enjoying a successful acting career in America, Agutter continued to star in high-profile British films like 1976s The Eagle Has Landed, 1977s Equus, and 1979s The Riddle of the Sands. In the early 90s, she moved back to Britain to focus on her family life. She then shifted away from films and started making television appearances. After starring in the 2000 TV adaptation of The Railway Children, Agutter continued to steadily work in British drama series. Since 2012, she's been the star of the hit BBC primetime series Call the Midwife. That same year, she returned to Hollywood to appear in The Avengers. She reprised her role in the 2014 film Captain American: The Winter Soldier. Her later film The Railway Children Returns is expected to hit theaters sometime this year.
