Description: The Neurological Institute Outpatient Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a family-friendly space that brings together experts in neurology and neurosurgery to provide specialized pediatric neurologic care to children and families all under one roof. The Center is among just a few in the country to offer a wide range of outpatient services—including 34 patient exam rooms, two waiting rooms, a state-of-the-art EEG lab and a dedicated playroom—in a centralized location for children with neurological conditions. We treat children with any neurological issue including epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, craniofacial disorders, brachial plexus, neuro-oncology needs and more. The comprehensive care at the Neurological Institute Outpatient Center includes specialists in rehabilitation, psychology, diet therapy, social work and genetic counseling, as well experts in nearly 20 subspecialties, who collaborate to provide treatment tailored to the needs of each patient. This unique space gives families access to multiple specialists during a single visit to streamline care and make appointments more convenient and efficient.
