Description: Let's talk about my desk setup! From my 4K Asus monitors to my Intel CPU, NVIDIA GPUs, 64GB of RAM, SSDs, I'll show you everything I'm using day to day to create my videos! NVIDIA supports CUDA, which is more widely supported across creative applications such as Premiere Pro, Blender, Houdini and other tools. NVIDIA is spending a lot of money to get integrated and I think ATI and OpenCL are a bit behind in this space. For most basic video editing 8GB or 16GB of RAM is sufficient. If you're looking to work with 4K footage or run simulations in Houdini or Blender I'd recommend go 32GB or even 64GB if you can afford it. Pick a DESKTOP computer over a Laptop computer unless you NEED (not just want) the portability. You will get a much stronger machine with a desktop machine compared to a laptop for the same money. I'm not saying there aren't some amazing video editing laptops, but your money will be better spent on a desktop computer. You don't need to get studio monitors to work with audio.
