Description: Please read the below: I wrote this song to memorialize the untimely passing of Daniel Kyre (1994 - 2015), close friend to Mark Fischbach (Markiplier) and Co-Founder of the Cyndago group. To be extremely clear, ads have been disabled for this video out of respect for the gravity of this occasion. Official statement by Cyndago can be viewed on their facebook page. The title of this song, "My Dreams Stave The Requiem", means that I am in utterly painful denial of Daniel's passing and that, as I reluctantly receive the news of this tragedy, my wishes and imagination keep me thinking of the ways things COULD have gone rather than accepting the sorrowful reality - hence, my dreams of meeting, playing music with Dan stave my acceptance of this work as a requiem of his passing. I chose to write an electric guitar arrangement as an acknowledgement of Dan's incredible musical gift of guitar. Through the consumption of his soundcloud and various youtube channels' content, I have been privately admiring Dan for months as an exceptionally talented guitarist, songwriter, trap producer, mixing engineer, and music connoisseur (artists Lido and Nujabes in his playlists - some of my own inspirations...), so I bitterly mourn the fact that such a rare artist has disappeared from our world. He even shared a love for "dirty south" hip-hop beats as I have. Daniel, I recorded this song on an Ibanez, just like you did on your PGM301 for your cover of "Somebody I Used To Know". I regret and hate that we never met and talked or played music together. God loves you very much, I am sure of it. I wish I could know that we will meet again. If you're reading this, you better be ready to jam all day if we both get a chance to get up sometime. Count on it. All best, James
