Description: Recently at our LA Campus, we had the great privilege of hearing from make-up artist and designer Michèle Burke. In 1982, Michèle, along with make-up artist Sarah Monzani, became the first women to win a Best Make-up Oscar for their work in Quest for Fire (1981). She is accomplished in all areas of makeup: design and application, beauty and fashion spreads for print media as well as her signature character, prosthetic, fantasy and period work in feature films and television. Her impressive movie resume includes some of the top films including As Good As It Gets, Elizabethtown, Minority Report, Austin Powers 2, Rock of Ages, and more.
