Today we’re gonna be talking about 10 more tips for extinction! Whether you’re new or if you have some more experience, I’m sure you’re gonna find a couple golden nuggets in this video that will change the way you play ark FOREVER! Let’s get right into it with... Number 10 - How to solo tame the desert titan! I know we already covered this Recent patch made it harder Flock now knocks you off Set argie to follow have tek boots Use geysers Number 9 - What are these silly gravity grenades even good for? Use it to get a boost with wing suit Use it to break up corrupted dinos from orbital drop Use it to knock dinosaurs off cliffs or into people’s bases. Number 8 - All about those cryo pods! Unlocked at level 51 Allow you to store your dinos in a convenient way 30 day timer! Wow! Dirt cheap to make to no problem using and abusing them Can only throw 1 of them then you get a 300 second timer Throwing more causes them to come out unconscious with cryo sickness Can’t be called back when sick Cryo fridge allows you to recharge pods If you die then people own your dino Great tool for safe dino transfers They reset mating timers. Picking up infant so you can tame then later say like on a weekend. Number 7 - A secret about the city terminals They recharge batteries If you’re built next to them this could be an amazing resource Number 6 - The true counter to the velonasaur! Managarmr - Improved Managarmr's ice breath accuracy - Buffed Managarmr stamina regen slightly Number 5 - Get element the easy way! This is kind of a mid game thing but very easy to do Engram unlocked at level 58 shards 55 1000 element dust 10 for shards Use doed to collect super fast from lamp posts Number 4 - Silicate! Where do you get silica pearls to craft everything? In extinction we have silicate Use high melee ank to farm it 1 for 1 conversion to pearls Number 3 - A tip not really related to extinction! Use argies to farm with anks, sort of how quetz work. Number 2 - Beat orbital drops the easy way! Enforcers - Reduced damage taken from corrupted dinos by 60% Number 1 - How to beat the king titan! Take all 3 titans in even tho they take damage. Forest titan is main tank. Have your character with more armour and medical brews since the meteors do damage to players. Be on Ice Titan to be doing most of the damage. Throwing ice etc. Use Desert Titan to help defend the corrupted nodes so it won’t get healing from that spawned in nodes. Basically just like an orbital drop with corrupted dinos while the titan holds still. Titan movesets: Attack 1: Basic Melee attacks front and with tail. Watch out! Attack 2: A giant purple fireball that launches at the nearest target (block with the forest titan or try and dodge it.) Attack 3: It goes into a blind charge straight forward (does a ton of damage) but when it starts up get the forest titan in front of it and do the block with titan to stop it from charging. You get the engram or item for mega mek on medium tier. Attack 4: Does an emp blast that will kill any mek or enforcer or tek creature in its radius. You CAN use velos to help defend the nodes as well. Build places to spawn on each of the titans. As soon as the bossfight begins, all titans you bring are restored to max health. YOU CAN BRING TITANS AS SOON AS YOU TAME THEM. Watch out for meteors. Tank with forest, throw Ice. Also if you activate cinematic whatever stuff have on you will be lost. Transfer your stuff to your dino and dismount when cinematic begins. More titan abilities: It launches weird blobs of matter that when it expands it releases a corrupted giga so destroy those blobs. Stay in block mode with forest titan.
