Description: In this tutorial I molded and cast a set of custom doll ears for my 8 year old. She made the pattern using Protolina Clay and a plastic ring from the top of her orange juice that morning. I thought that was pretty resourceful so I decided this creativity warranted a mold and cast! Follow along as we make a simple silicone mold and TC-800 resin cast. Obviously these techniques may be applied to a variety of objects, including action figure parts and other custom doll parts. Now that my 8 year old sees the possibilities, she may be making a lot more custom accessories!
