Description: Recently, people have posted lots of benchmarks of the performance of Minecraft running on Apple Silicon through Rosetta 2. This means they're running the binaries that were built for Intel on the M1. However, this doesn't accurately depict the kind of performance that the M1 can deliver, and over time, applications will be ported to run natively on the new chips. However, I wanted to get Minecraft running before an official port, to see how mature the new Apple Silicon Macs are for developers. I compiled all the dependencies (mostly LWJGL + MultiMC related) from scratch. A full length tutorial on this is coming soon — stay tuned!
