When Nara spotted her she knew she had to be taken to the vet immediately. Once she picked Millie up she felt light as air and looked like an "alien." Once Millie made her recovery she was sent to the U.S. to HSI's emergency shelter to await adoption. It was here that she met Dave – a volunteer working at the shelter.
