It is an adaptation to Spanish of the theme Tenez vous bien , by Salvatore Adamo The theme refers to a young man willing to enjoy the nightlife and find love. The original theme, in French and published in 1966, was translated into several languages, including Spanish, with lyrics by Jorge Córdoba. Rafael de León redid the lyrics for Raphael's version, which also had arrangements by Manuel Alejandro .
