Description: I had 144 kg of scrap aluminum wich I decided to melt down into lingots for future green sand casting. The aluminum was checked for magnesium with vinegar. Sorted in I.- cast aluminum, II.- aluminum pipe, sheet, wire and other. Everything was melted using waste oil burner. It took me two days to melt everything.
