Description: I found this old Meat Chopper (meat grinder) minus the working parts at an Antique Store. I really love the look of the metal casting. I envisaged straight away a unique Steam Punk Style lamp. And this is the result. The Meat Chopper was made by the Enterprise Mfg, USA perhaps in the 1800's, or the patent was 1888 as per the markings. I am finally getting some good results on the CNC making parts. It has taken a lot of learning, trial and error, broken bits and wrecked jobs, but I think I have progressed. Timber is Australian Hardwood - not sure of the exact species, however the splinters are like needles. I used Shellac on the Timber and Penetrol for the steel work. Thanks for watching Regards Scott For the CNC I use the 3Dtek.xyz Heavy Mill For the CNC Controller I use the dependable MASSO Lathe C6 (Hafco AL-60M)
