Description: This is a long, detailed makeup FX tutorial, so grab a cold drink and get comfortable! In this tutorial, Matthew Mungle demonstrates a method for applying wounds right out of a silicone mold. The wounds were cast using 2 layers of Soft Sealer followed by 2 layers of "Bondo" (thickened Pros-aide). More layers may be required for deep molds. This method allows basic wounds like bullet holes and cuts to be applied quickly, and easily blended. We will be posting a full casting tutorial in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! The molds were made using PlatSil 73-15: brickintheyard.com/products/7315u2?_pos=1&_sid=452db31e8&_ss=r Blending was done with Character Palette: brickintheyard.com/products/w-m-creations-stacolor-palette-character?_pos=3&_sid=d3c77426e&_ss=r Blood Paste: brickintheyard.com/products/fleet-street-blood-scab-lymphatic-paste?_pos=1&_sid=385d68e1e&_ss=r Soft Sealer: brickintheyard.com/products/w-m-creations-stacolor-extender-2oz?_pos=1&_sid=5173b2fe4&_ss=r Academy Award winner Matthew W.
