Description: MANTRA FOR PEACE OF MIND. MAIM MANTRA. #MAIM Maitreya's seed syllable is maiṃ, which rhymes with the English word "sign". As in many cases this is the first syllable of Maitreya's name with an anusvara. The word maitri means friendly, amicable, benevolent, affectionate. The Pali equivalent is metta. Mahamaitri is greatly friendly, and maitriye is the dative form of the word and therefore means "to or for the friendly one". Maitri is related to the word mitra. #Mitra was a #Vedic god whose function was, along with Varuna, the protector of ṛta, the cosmic order. #Maitreya is the next #Buddha . He is currently waiting in the Tushita heaven for his time on earth which will be 5,670,000,000 years after the death of Śakyamuni. Afer this period the Buddhadharma will have completely died out, and Maitreya will 'rediscover' it just as all previous Buddhas have done so. Maitreya's emblem is the stupa, sometimes sitting on a lotus, and his mudra is the wheel turning, or teaching mudra. He is sometimes shown as sitting in a chair western style. ************************************************************************ Mantra - it is a combination of special sounds and vibrations that purify space, body, mind and consciousness from negative energies. Mantra – it is an ancient sacred formula that gives a powerful Divine energy, it is the key that opens the way to the Supreme Divine knowledge. Repeat the mantras possible any number of times, but the most importantly the number of repetitions has to be a multiple of three. You can repeat them 3,6,9,15 ... times, but the best effect is obtained with a daily repetition of mantras 108 times, because the number of one hundred and eight is considered sacred. One – it symbolizes the Supreme Divine Energy, zero – it is the perfection of God's creation and eight – it is a symbol of eternity and infinity in an inverted form. In order not to make mistakes in counting the number of times they recommend to use the rosary.
