Description: ORIGINAL VIDEO youtube.com/watch?v=h0l81nJh4As In this episode I take a look back at my trailer for Moana 2: Lost in New York. This has always been a cute video. I made this one back in 2017. It was a relatively quick project for me (around a month). The actual film Moana was one of my favourite Pixar films and I knew it would be relatively simple to edit that into a new sequel. The great thing about Moana is most of the backgrounds are ocean, so they're relatively simple to remove. I took a lot of the ocean shots and placed her in New York using scenes from Secret Life of Pets. I'm a huge 90's movie fan, so I used the "Lost In New York" reference from Home Alone 2. One thing about this video that I love is the opening intro. I hired a lady from Fiverr to read my script and reanimated the opening to set the scene for this trailer. She did an amazing job with her reading. The goal was for her to impersonate the grandmother from Moana 2 and she nailed it. If you enjoyed this video then check out some of my other Making The Trailer videos. Thanks guys!
