Description: My Woodworking Design Series: rlnk.cc/frankhowarththeoryofwoodworking At this time every year, I harvest my grapes to make raisins. Just after we moved into this house ten years ago, I planted grape vines along the west side of the house. I built a big trellis for them so they would form a large green wall of shade for the house in the summer. After harvesting a batch of grapes, I separate them from the stems and cut them in half and lay them out on my dehydrator trays. I dry them over night. These homemade raisins have a bright and sweet flavor. We eat them like candy.
