Description: Time to make these subwoofers truly ONE OF A KIND! Well... 12 of a kind! Today, we finish up the basic skeletons for the subs, which are now gloss white with matching backplates. Let's get the hard parts fully assembled while we prepare for the soft parts next... RECONES!!! We'll need to carefully clean the inside to avoid any problems. Step 2: Remove rust and recoat - the backplates of each motor have also started to oxidize. We'll need to sand off all that, and scuff up the surface for new coating. Step 3: Upgrading old hardware - the motors were originally held on by 6 soft metal Philips heads. We'll upgrade to grade 8 hex heads, and replace the back bolts with black for good measure. Step 4: Painting the back plates - the extra touch of adding gloss white paint to the frames and backplates will help the subs POP out more on when making bass videos Step 4: Reattach motor & basket - each sub needs to be reassembled with threadlocker and glue, so we'll tighten everything down before adding new recones.
