Description: A very simple sealed subwoofer box for a boat audio system that is designed and made water tight yet compact enough for easy storage and handling. Box is made of high quality marine plywood with 3 layers of automotive body filler to completely waterproof the box and still super light weight. Houses a couple of Infinity Reference 1022MLT 10" marine-grade subwoofers that is equipped with vanity LED lighting effect when plugged in to 12v source. The subwoofers were wired into 2 Ohm final impedance which is exactly the lowest impedance the monoblock amplifier can handle. A non-slip rubber matting is applied under the subwoofer box to prevent it from sliding and shifting. ABS plastic handles were installed for easy box moving and carrying within the deck of the boat. Neutrik speakon 4 pin connector is used to connect the 12v source for the lighting effect and amplifier output. Speedboat is an original Suzuki F-230 Japan surplus. Please watch until the end of the video to see the subwoofer bass test demo and please let me know what you think by commenting down in the comment section.
