Thank you for stopping by. How did you like my latest project? I wanna hear your feedback so please let me know below! ABOUT THE PROJECT I love round shapes and curves. I was playing with this idea for quite some time but never was the right time to make something like this. Always busy always rushing. Until i find perfect application for this woodworking project. My little sister took over a lokal bur near my shop and place needed a little bit of redecorating. There is a wall which is missing something and that's the reason why i decided to make this. With this "wall art /cabinet" i combined something visual appealing and yet useful at the same time. This Fluted style liqueur cabinet is made from local walnut wood. Pieces that couldn't be used for other of my work due to poor quality (grain color mostly) is entirely used to for this art piece. Everything was Glued but the key was to cut the bottom side out before that so i save quite a bit of time and labour because there was no need for carving. Mostly was already cut out. Because walnut had nice colors I know that Fluted /wave like structure would look even better on this round piece. I make this style of furniture etc often in the past and also one of our knife holders has the same design and it's quite popular (link above) This was mounted in my shop at the moment because I'm waiting the right opportunity to go to the sister's bar. But mounting will be the same. It is mounted on simple but very strong hinge that you can see in the video. Hinge was later painted black so it's more suitable. This will be used for liquor that my sis is making. Mostly from particular herbs /walnut and cranberries. This are shoots like drinks also very strong. It took me a about one week to make everything working fev or more hours at the time. Besides this video I'm working on new one already and it will be available in 2 weeks i think.
