Description: This video is for Inspirational purposes. I was lucky enough to buy a heap of old school sheet metal stakes and anvils for a great price. I thought having a mobile stand that I can move around my workshop would be needed. Also having a vice on the stand was part of the idea as they are used a lot in the shop as well. This project is a make as you go style. There are no plans. I don't normally weld heavy steel so I had to find the right settings on the welder. I did this by trial and error. In the end I think I got near what I needed. I still have to do some "deadening" to try and stop some of the ringing. I think this will be a simple enough fix using some wood on the centre beam. Smith & Arrow are an Industrial Abrasives company that are owned and managed in my Town (Townsville Australia). I have been using their Flap disc abrasives for a while and I find that their products are excellent for their longevity and grinding effectiveness, so I thought I'd give them a bit of attention in this video. Something I don't normally do. (Not Sponsored).
